Steve brings a strong background in brownfield program and project management to our Greener by Design clients.  He joins Greener by Design after a productive 27-years at the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection overseeing the cleanup and redevelopment of many high profile sites, including; the Prudential Arena in Newark, the Red Bull Arena and surrounding mixed-use development projects in Harrison. the Colgate Palmolive site on the waterfront on Paulus Hook and Berry Lane Park, both in Jersey City.  He managed the Brownfield Development Area (BDA) program while at the NJDEP and is currently managing  the South Waterfront BDA in Harrison, the E-port BDA in Elizabeth, and is supporting the Paterson Environmental Revitalization Committee.  Steve also managed the City of Newark brownfield program while serving as a Director and Vice President for the Brick City Development Corporation and its successor, the Newark Community Economic Development Corporation.  His experience includes over 30 years of assisting local and county governments, for-profit and non-profit developers and landowners develop strategy to promote the remediation and redevelopment of distressed properties.  He has worked within the state and federal brownfield programs since their inception and looks forward to providing his accumulated experience, skills and strategies to best serve our Greener by Design clients.
