Debra Hinlicky is Greener by Design’s Operations Manager and Graphic Designer, with over 25 years of experience in these fields and a lifelong dedication to ecological and environmental issue. Her background in accounting, office management, and graphic art allows her to maintain the day to day workings and the marketing of GbD, which include the website and company qualifications. She develops scopes of work, contracts and RFP responses, while also handling all personnel and HR matter, and computer hardware and software issues. Before joining the Greener by Design team, Debra worked at Rutgers University - Douglass and Cook Colleges Student Cooperative Store as the accounting department manager and website administration and before that was the manager of the text and trade book departments. In addition, Debra has owned and operated a business producing original hand built porcelain pottery for retail and wholesale markets. She was awarded the NJ State Council of the Arts Fellowship Grant in 1983. Debra created portrait sculptures on a commission basis and has experience with design, development, grant writing, manufacturing, marketing, and distribution to buyers and the general public. Debra graduated cum laude from Rutgers University – Douglass College with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Sociology and Studio Art.
